Who is Microblading for?
Those who want to effortlessly look their best at all times. It is also for those who are candidates for the procedure and this procedure is not suitable for candidates with LARGE PORES or OILY SKIN!
Is it tattooing?
The recent popularity of the term microblading, has led many people to falsely believe microblading is not a tattoo process when in FACT it is a COSMETIC TATTOO. Permanent cosmetics, micropigmentaion, dermal implantation,microblading/microstroking,eyebrow embroidery, and long-time/long-lasting makeup, are all different names for the same procedure. Any time pigment is placed into the skin with any device, it is a tattoo process as defined by many well informed regulators, the medical community, & dictionary sources. Denying this process can be problematic for those who would, for religious or other personal reasons, normally refuse to have a tattoo.
Who is a good candidate Ombre/Powder Brows for?
This is the latest trend of makeup It gives a soft shaded brow pencil look. Once healed, it is more natural looking than solid color. It gives great definition and depth to the brows. Whether the client is looking for a light soft shading or show-stopping bold brows, it can be customized according to the client's desire. It can also be combined with Microblading to give a more realistic look. This procedure is suitable for all skin types!
Do my existing eyebrows need to be shaved off?
Not at all! It is no need to modify your eyebrows in any way. You can get them waxed 3-4 days prior to the procedure or even threaded and if not your artist can clean them up for while prior to beginning your procedure.
Does it Hurt?
The discomfort level is relative as everyone has a different level of sensitivity. A topical anesthetic is applied for numbing before the procedure and every effort is made to ensure that you remain comfortable for the duration of the procedure.
Pre-Care Instructions
Excess bleeding and sensitivity during the procedure can dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results. Having this procedure performed during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort during the procedure. If your a frequent smoker, the topical anesthetics used during the treatment will not last as long and also may lead to poor retention.
If you have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, be aware that this may affect your sensitivity tolerance to the procedure.

How long does Permanent Makeup Last?
Cosmetic tattooing will fade over time and it is recommended to get an annual touch up to keep them looking their best. There is no guarantee in how long it will last on each individual as each person has a different lifestyle and skin. Frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors including : Skin type,pigment selection,lifestyle, sun exposure, iron deficiency ( your body absorbs iron-oxide as a supplement), chemical peels etc...
*Please note final results can not be guaranteed as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment at your touch up appointment and make any changes necessary.*

What should I do before my cosmetic procedure?
If you have an ideal shape and color in mind, please bring a couple of reference photos with you to your appointment. If you plan to go on vacation, it is recommended to plan your trip a minimum of 14-20 after the procedure.
We require our clients to avoid any blood thinning medication for a minimum of 48 hours prior to their appointment.This includes Vitamin E, Asprin, Niacin, Fish Oil Supplements, and Ibuprofen, DO NO DRINK ALCOHOL / CAFFEINE 24-48 hrs prior to your appointment (Yes,, decaf coffee has caffeine)
NO BOTOX for 2-3 weeks prior to Eyebrow Procedure & NO BOTOX after for 2-3 weeks either.
If you have been on the prescription ACCUTANE in the past, you MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure.
It is highly recommended that you avoid SUN and TANNING bed exposure for 30 days Before & After your procedure. If you show up for your appointment with a new tan or a sunburn you will need to reschedule. Your skin exfoliates from a sunburn , it will take the pigment with it.

How will I look immediately after my cosmetic procedure
Your eyebrows will appear darker, and more intense than expected for the first week or so. This will gradually lighten during the complete healing process. Redness and swelling is minimal!
Your eyeliner
Some itching is normal. DO NOT PICK, PEEL, OR SCRATCH the treated area or your color may heal unevenly and you risk scarring and infection.
After any eyeliner procedure, use new mascara for the first 10 days after the 3 days of no makeup. Do not use an eyelash curler for two weeks.
Lips – Drink through a straw and avoid spicy and salty foods for several days.
Lips – Take medication advised to prevent outbreaks of cold sores.
Use Q-tips to apply topical balm to keep moist. NO NEOSPORIN OR BACITRACIN! Use Vaseline only. (minimum 2x daily)

*If you are planning a chemical peel, MRI or other medical procedures, please inform the technician that you have had an iron-oxide cosmetic tattoo. Careful application must be taken to avoid affecting the tattooed area.*
*If you are planning to have laser treatments, tell your laser specialist to avoid the pigmented area, laser may cause the pigment to turn black.
*If you are planning a chemical peel, MRI or other medical procedures, please inform the technician that you have had an iron-oxide cosmetic tattoo. Careful application must be taken to avoid affecting the tattooed area.*

What if I don't like my cosmetic tattoo?
As with all cosmetic procedures, individuals should not make their choices lightly. We always recommend clients do their research, understand the procedure and compare different artist work and portfolio when making their decisions. Your technician will do their utmost to the shape and style of your procedure to your satisfaction. Every effort will be made to achieve an even appearance, but please realize our faces are never perfectly symmetrical. Uneven appearance can be fixed during a touch-up session.
If you absolutely don't like your cosmetic tattoo either don't follow the aftercare instructions given to you by your artist or consider removal.
